Here we will show you how to connect
with MSN Messenger.
-
Call your friend’s PC for free.
1. Open a chat window and click "Call"
Select "Call computer" from the menu. Your contact will be sent a call invitation, and their computer will
ring.
2. Start talking!
Once your contact accepts your invitation, you're good to go.
-
IM your friends on their mobile phones.
1. Right-click a contact and select "Send a mobile text (SMS)"
From the contact pane, right-click the contact to want to send an SMS to.
2. Type your message
You may receive a welcome greeting. If so, click "OK". A conversation window will open. Type your message
and click "Send".
-
Connect to your Windows Live Messenger from multiple locations at
once.
1. Sign in on multiple devices
Now if you use Messenger in multiple places - on your desktop computer at work, on your laptop at home, on
your mobile device - you can stay signed in and access Messenger from these places at once. You can stay
simultaneously signed into Messenger from up to four separate devices.
2. View your conversations from everywhere
Messenger sends your conversations to all of your devices at once, so if you're signed in at home and at
work, you'll be notified in both places... and you're always in sync.
-
Chat face-to-face in real time using your webcam.
1. Choose a contact
Select the person you want to chat with.
2. Click "Video"
An invitation will be sent to your contact and once they've accepted your invitation, your video chat can
begin.
3. Start chatting
Now you're ready to chat in high-resolution. You can resize your video window, so you can work on other
things while talking, or let several people view live video on a larger screen.
